The Hakarimata Walkway traveres the Hakarimata Rangers, on the westen side of the Waikato River between Huntly and Ngaruawahia. The Hakarimata Walkway climbs to 374 meters to offer stunning views of the forest-clad mountain range, the Waikato River, and surrounding towns. The walkway takes a full day to track and takes you through native bush, including towering kauri and totara trees.
